Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects.
• Measure dimensions and mark materials with precision using tape measures, rulers, and other hand tools.
• Construct frameworks for buildings, including framing with wood, metal studs, and other materials.
• Install drywall, stucco, siding, trim carpentry, and perform finishing work to achieve smooth surfaces and polished appearances.
• Erect metal buildings and perform metal stud framing with attention to structural integrity and safety standards.
• Execute concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and related masonry tasks for foundations and structural elements.
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to facilitate efficient construction processes.
• Perform roofing, siding installation, plastering, restoration work, and remodeling projects as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure adherence to construction plans and schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite while complying with all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.

Skills

• Proven experience in construction site work with a strong understanding of safety procedures.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, levels, and measuring devices like tape measures.
• Knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, drywall installation, roofing, siding, stucco application, and masonry techniques.
• Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong understanding of dimensional measurements and basic math skills for precise construction work.
• Experience in framing (including woodwork), trim carpentry, plastering, restoration projects, and remodeling tasks.
• Familiarity with schematics for electrical or plumbing components related to carpentry projects is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy materials consistently while maintaining proper form; physical stamina is essential.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed construction plans accurately.

Pay: $26.80 - $32.27 per hour
