Job Summary
Ripcord Construction is seeking dependable and motivated Construction Laborers to support residential and commercial construction projects. This is a 1099 independent contractor position ideal for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment
- Assist with demolition, site preparation, and cleanup
- Support carpenters, equipment operators, and other trades as needed
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Follow all job site safety procedures and requirements
- Perform general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Construction experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and carry 60 pounds or more
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable personal vehicle required
- Must be eligible to work as an independent contractor (1099)
- Must provide own work boots and appropriate work attire
