Position Summary
The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for building strong relationships within the community to increase awareness of the medical clinic’s services, promote health education, support patient growth initiatives, and strengthen partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and healthcare providers. This role represents the clinic at community events, health fairs, senior centers, schools, and outreach programs while helping improve patient engagement and community trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and attend community outreach events, health fairs, senior events, and wellness programs
- Promote clinic services, providers, specialty programs, and preventive healthcare initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, schools, senior centers, churches, and healthcare partners
- Educate the community about available medical services, insurance programs, and healthcare resources
- Assist with patient recruitment, retention, and community engagement strategies
- Distribute marketing materials and promotional items during outreach activities
- Coordinate event logistics, including setup, vendor communication, and staffing support
- Track outreach activities, event attendance, referrals, and patient leads
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop outreach campaigns and community initiatives
- Support social media and community promotion efforts when needed
- Maintain professional representation of the clinic within the community
- Assist with scheduling presentations, educational workshops, and wellness seminars
- Provide excellent customer service and answer general questions regarding clinic services
- Medicare membership growth
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Previous experience in community outreach, healthcare marketing, customer service, or event coordination preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to speak confidently in public and engage with diverse communities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office, email, and social media platforms
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally for outreach activities

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
