About The Role
We are looking for a Superintendent Resource & Mine Geology to lead the delivery of accurate, integrated geological knowledge and resource models that support safe operations, optimize mine value, and reduce geological risk.
This is a great opportunity for a strategic and collaborative leader to influence decision-making, strengthen technical capability, and enhance operational performance through high-quality geological insights.
Reporting to the Manager Surface Mine Planning and Geoscience and working within a cross-functional environment, you will
- Lead and develop the Resource & Mine Geology team, building capability and fostering a strong safety culture
- Oversee resource modelling, estimation, and compliance with industry standards and governance requirements
- Deliver orebody knowledge (OBK) and reconciliation insights to support operational and planning decisions and program improvement
- Define and implement OBK strategies to manage geological risk and improve resource confidence
- Ensure effective grade control and geological data acquisition and management to support design execution and value-stream performance
- Collaborate across planning, operations, geotechnical, and metallurgical teams to optimize value delivery
- Drive continuous improvement in geological practices, data integration, and modelling processes

- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geologic Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Extensive experience in mine geology, including modelling, data analysis, and interpretation (typically 10 years in mining or similar environments)
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and guide high-performing teams
- Strong ability to collaborate and influence across technical and operational stakeholders
