About the Employer

Operate at the cutting edge of general aviation with a premier, rapidly expanding maintenance facility in the beautiful Denver metro area. We manage an active, high-tempo mixed fleet that includes both top-tier rotary platforms (Robinson, Airbus, Bell) and advanced, avionics-forward piston aircraft (Cirrus, Diamond, Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft). As our tight-knit, highly capable technical team pursues dual Part 135 and Part 145 certifications—alongside upcoming expansions into turboprop service and electric aviation—this ground-floor opportunity offers an unmatched long-term career trajectory. This is the perfect destination for a skilled technician ready to leave the coastal humidity behind for pristine mountain air and massive professional growth.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly Wage: $32.00 – $43.00 / hour (Base rate determined strictly by your specific rotary, piston, or avionics experience).

  • Relocation Package: Comprehensive, customized relocation assistance is available and negotiated case-by-case to ensure a seamless transition to Colorado.

  • Shifts & Flexibility: 40-hour work weeks with highly desirable scheduling options, including 4x10 (enjoy a permanent 3-day weekend) or standard 5x8 schedules.

  • Premium Pay: Frequent opportunities for overtime, with rotational weekend coverage and emergency AOG support compensated at premium rates.

  • Benefits Package: Full Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage; 401(k) retirement plan with company match; flexible PTO; specialty shop tools provided; and factory/OEM training paths for qualified team members.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance, this cross-platform role keeps a premier GA fleet airworthy, safe, and operationally ready. Whether you lean heavily into helicopter powerplants or excel at advanced glass-cockpit piston maintenance, you will work across a genuinely diverse hangar. Your day-to-day will span routine phase inspections, complex mechanical troubleshooting, structural enhancements, and cutting-edge avionics integration within a well-funded, highly ambitious shop environment.

Core Responsibilities
  • Execute top-tier scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, component overhauls, and defect rectification across the fleet (Helicopter and/or Fixed-Wing).

  • Perform and sign off on annual and 100-hour inspections in strict compliance with 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91.

  • Isolate, diagnose, and repair complex faults across mechanical, hydraulic, powertrain, and electrical/avionics systems.

  • Assist with modern avionics installations and glass-cockpit upgrades, including GPS, radios, ADS-B, and integrated autopilot systems.

  • Interpret and accurately apply aircraft maintenance manuals, Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and technical schematics.

  • Perform light structural sheet metal work and airframe repairs as needed.

  • Log all maintenance actions with absolute precision using the shop’s digital tracking inventory.

  • Participate in the shared on-call rotation for weekend coverage and rapid AOG emergency response.

Minimum Criteria
  • Current and valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience maintaining General Aviation aircraft (either dedicated rotary, advanced piston, or a combination of both).

  • Verifiable background successfully completing and signing off on 100-hour and annual airframe inspections.

  • Solid proficiency in electrical diagnostics and/or aircraft system troubleshooting.

  • Comprehensive working knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91 regulatory frameworks.

  • Must own and maintain a personal set of basic aviation hand tools (specialty tools provided by the facility).

  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varied physical positions, and safely operate around standard aviation materials.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Active FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) credential.

  • Direct, factory-level experience with Robinson R44, Airbus AS350, Bell 206, or Garmin G1000/Avidyne suites.

  • Prior background working within high-cycle environments like flight schools, fleet operators, or Part 135/145 repair stations.

  • Experience with turboprop airframes or advanced sheet metal structural repair.
