Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring timely service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, following health and safety guidelines.
- Process payments efficiently while providing excellent customer service throughout the dining experience.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist in the training of new staff members as needed
- Preform all opening and closing side work
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
