As a Painter you will be maintaining the general condition of our property with regards to all aspects of basic painting work.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following
- Applies various finishes to buildings, rooms, or other structures, including primers or sealers.
- Prepares, cleans, and tapes all jobsites.
- Removes old paint coating, if necessary.
- Mix colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency.
- Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
- Cleans up worksite debris.
- Maintaining an inventory of supplies like paint brushes, rollers and tarps
- Removing old finish using scrapers, chemical compounds, or blowtorches
- Estimating time and material costs on painting projects
- Cleaning machines, equipment and work areas using water, solvents and other cleaning aids.
- This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
- High school diploma is an asset.
- Previous painting experience preferred.
- Proficiency with painting tools and equipment a plus
- Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment.
- Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
- A valid Nevada Gaming License is required and must be obtained before entering this position.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary for the success of the hotel.
- Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust, and smoke.
- Close spaces while working with others.
- While work is performed outdoors, Team Member could be required to maneuvering for prolonged periods of time, both inside and outside, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
- Respond to visual and aural cues.
