About the Role:
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resources.
- Supervise and lead production teams, ensuring proper training, motivation, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Oversee quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency within the production workflow.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure all production equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Manage raw material inventory levels to support continuous production without disruptions.
- Work within budget constraints, optimizing resources to achieve production targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve production performance.
- Address production issues promptly, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to streamline overall operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and other relevant industry regulations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production activities, challenges, and achievements to senior management.
- Foster open communication channels within the production team and collaborate with other departments to achieve overall company objective
Qualifications:
- A high school degree and a minimum of a two-year college degree is preferred plus related work experience.
- Supervisory/management experience required.
- Must have a mechanical aptitude capable of managing and corresponding with maintenance personnel.
- Must be able to build, maintain and lead a teamwork type environment.
- Must be able to monitor and manage adequate inventory controls.
- Must have good communication skills and work well with customers.
