Role Description: The Senior Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Greenville, SC. This position is responsible for leading client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact, and ensuring that marketing initiatives are aligned with client goals and delivered on time and within budget. Day-to-day tasks include developing and presenting strategic proposals, coordinating with internal creative, digital, and media teams, and tracking campaign performance to provide clear reporting and insights. The Senior Account Manager will oversee project timelines, manage account profitability, and proactively identify opportunities for account growth. This role also involves mentoring junior team members, facilitating smooth internal communication, and contributing to process improvements that enhance client service.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in account management, client services, or agency leadership, preferably within marketing, advertising, or digital media.
- Strong skills in relationship management, communication, and stakeholder coordination, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in marketing strategy, campaign planning, and performance analysis, including interpreting KPIs and using insights to optimize future initiatives.
- Solid project management abilities, including scoping work, managing timelines and budgets, and overseeing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with digital and social media platforms, content development processes, and collaboration with creative and media buying teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Greenville, SC, and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented, client-focused environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in a marketing or advertising agency and managing multiple accounts simultaneously is highly beneficial.
