Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris across construction sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with site supervisors to deliver materials efficiently and on schedule
- Assist with basic maintenance and minor repairs on trucks and related equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Support other heavy equipment operation tasks as needed, including excavator, loader, backhoe, dozer, grader, water truck, horizontal drilling equipment, tanker trucks, and paving machinery
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction environment
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, water trucks, and backhoes
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to perform basic maintenance on trucks and equipment
- Strong understanding of construction processes and materials transportation
- Experience with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery is a plus
