Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for toddlers and infants
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
- Support classroom management by maintaining a structured, positive environment that encourages learning and exploration
- Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to observe and document developmental milestones and behavioral progress
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's growth, needs, and daily experiences
- Uphold all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and best practices related to early childhood education and caregiving
Experience and Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting.
- Min. of AA degree in early childhood education for lead teacher position or 12 ECE units for Teacher assistant.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Experience with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and engagement
- Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; ongoing training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Experience with itoddler care strategies, and caregiving responsibilities in early childhood environments
- Must LOVE working with Babies through 5 years old children
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging families
