Summary
We are currently representing a well-established general contractor with over 30 years of experience delivering high-quality Commercial TI, Ground-Up Retail , Grocery, Public Works, and Renovation projects across the Northeast region, including MI, PA, MA, DE, ME, VT, and NY. They are actively seeking an experienced Traveling Commercial Superintendent to lead jobsite operations and ensure the successful delivery of fast-paced projects across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily on-site construction activities for tenant improvement and commercial projects
Coordinate all subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
Ensure full compliance with safety procedures and building code regulations
Develop, update, and maintain construction schedules and site logistics plans
Conduct site walkthroughs to monitor progress and enforce quality standards
Proactively identify and resolve jobsite issues or conflicts
Maintain communication with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams
Submit daily reports, project updates, and documentation as required
Ensure all deliverables are completed with a high level of quality craftsmanship
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial or tenant improvement construction
Strong understanding of construction methods, best practices, and industry standards
Proven ability to lead multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment
Effective leadership and decision-making skills with strong team coordination abilities
Proficient in reading construction documents, blueprints, and site plans
Experience with scheduling tools and construction management platforms
OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is preferred
Willingness to travel frequently across multiple Northeast states
