We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Job Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities and ensure that all aspects of a project are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company standards. Reporting to the President and working closely with the Project Manager, the Job Superintendent plays a critical role in the successful delivery of projects by managing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining quality and safety throughout construction.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations on the jobsite, including crews, equipment, and subcontractors, to ensure high-quality and timely project execution.

Ensure that all personnel on site—including subcontractor teams—are properly trained and compliant with OSHA regulations.

Confirm that crew members are skilled, productive, and performing their duties effectively.

Accurately lay out construction projects according to approved plans and proper grades.

Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications with precision.

Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain and update the project schedule.

Review project schedule and job costs on a weekly basis to monitor progress and budget adherence.

Maintain accurate inventory of tools and equipment on-site.

Complete and manage a daily superintendent log documenting activities, issues, and progress.

Ensure all change orders are properly documented and reflected in as-built drawings.

Attend pre-construction and construction meetings to align with stakeholders and project goals.

Assist inspectors during jobsite evaluations and walkthroughs.

Implement and manage quality control inspections to uphold construction standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of commercial construction experience, or equivalent education and training.

Strong spatial awareness and ability to visualize assembled structures.

Solid mathematical skills relevant to construction planning and execution.

Working knowledge of all phases of construction including new builds, remodels, and renovations.

Familiarity with construction tools, materials, techniques, and procedures.

Skilled in reading and understanding specifications and blueprints.

Proficient in jobsite safety practices and OSHA standards.

Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to follow directions accurately and clearly.

Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and crews.

Ability to estimate time and materials required for various construction tasks.

Professional and confident in interactions with subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, and vendors.
