Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on both facilities and production equipment. This position requires hands-on use of tools and machinery to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency while ensuring a safe and well-maintained work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and improve performance.

• Service and repair machinery such as presses, conveyors, pumps, compressors, forklifts, welders, saws, backhoes, and skid steers.

• Replace or repair control components including switches, sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, and motor starters.

• Execute work orders, inspections, and equipment adjustments.

• Safely operate welders, grinders, drill presses, and other fabrication equipment as needed.

• Fabricate, install, and modify parts or equipment to support production needs.

• Support facility upkeep through carpentry, masonry, groundskeeping, snow removal, and related tasks.

• Participate in company safety, health, and environmental initiatives.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

• Previous hands-on maintenance or repair experience required.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Skilled in the use of both hand and power tools.

• Ability to disassemble and reassemble machines for repair or part replacement.

• Strong attention to detail with a professional attitude and appearance.

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

• Effective time management and organizational skills.

• Demonstrated ability to contribute to process improvements and apply sound judgment in troubleshooting.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Work may occur indoors, outdoors, in noisy, dusty, or otherwise challenging environments.

• Tasks may require working at heights, in confined spaces, or adverse weather conditions.

• Regular climbing, kneeling, crouching, and balancing required.

• Must be capable of lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs occasionally.

• Knowledge of trade tools, equipment, and safety practices required.

• Reliable and punctual attendance required; this is an on-site role located in the Stapleton area of Denver with occasional travel to jobsites within the metro area.
