Overview
Hours are Monday-Friday, 7am– 3:30pm with weekend & holiday rotation
Location: 705 Riley Hospital Dr., Indianapolis, IN. 46202
Installs all types of wall coverings and finishes, including paint, wallpaper, vinyl, trimwork and borders. Finishes, sands and primes drywall. Paints, varnishes and stains building surfaces, equipment and fixtures with appropriate finish materials. Repairs damaged walls and wall coverings. Performs basic layout, design, ordering and estimating of jobs. Maintains inventory stock and supplies. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Key responsibilities:
- Timely completion of corrective maintenance work orders
- Routine rounding of building spaces for proactive solutions to areas of concern
- Partnering with team members to complete general daily tasks
- Coordination with team lead and supervisor on top priorities and assistance in managing contract labor
- Self motivated and hard working. Task oriented
- Experience in health care environment (or similar) and the challenges of working in a complex space
- Experience working with drywall patching materials including but not limited to quick-dry drywall mud, paint, varnish, stains, etc.
- Effective communication and ability to collaborate across departments
- Must have the ability to exhibit good visual acuity with full color perception.
- Requires current knowledge of various federal, state, local, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Joint Commission codes and regulations.
- May require a valid Indiana driver's license with proof of insurance.
- May be required to furnish own hand tools.
- Requires a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Trade experience in finishing, painting or graphic arts preferred.
