Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and monitor patient safety and behavior.
- Make trained observations and report findings to the mental health team or designated staff.
- Participate in group therapy sessions and other therapeutic activities.
- Assist with admitting, transferring, and discharging patients as assigned.
- Perform basic triage duties when required.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years relevant experience in mental health, behavioral health, or related healthcare setting preferred.
- Skills:
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
