What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at RIIM?
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users to define metrics, KPIs, and reporting logic
- Conduct data profiling, validation, and reconciliation against source systems
- Perform KPI validation, ensuring accuracy of metric definitions and calculations
- Execute report/dashboard QA, including visual and functional checks
- Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles for analytics deliverables
- Validate BigQuery data models, pipeline outputs, and semantic layer consistency
- Document data mapping, transformation rules, data quality issues, and resolution steps
- Act as the onsite bridge between business teams and offshore development teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong skills in SQL (preferably BigQuery SQL) and hands-on data analysis
- Prior experience in data validation, KPI verification, and QA of BI reports
- Working knowledge of GCP analytics stack — BigQuery, Data Catalog, Looker, Cloud Storage
- Understanding of semantic modeling and metadata/data lineage concepts
- Familiarity with UAT planning, execution, and stakeholder sign-off processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively in an onsite–offshore model
- Excellent analytical skills with strong communication and documentation abilities
