Position Summary:

To efficiently and effectively repair light or heavily damaged vehicles back to factory specs with little supervision.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

• Repair or replace truck components
• Repair fiberglass and plastic parts
• Repair or replace cabs
• Adjust hoods and doors
• Replace mechanical components such as cooling, suspension or steering parts
• Weld steel, aluminum and plastic parts
• Locate and repair water and air leaks
• Work independently

Qualifications:

•  MIN 5 years of experience in heavy and medium truck repair along with  exceptional mechanical, analytical and reasoning skills
• Good knowledge of suspension & mechanical operations
• Experience with body repair, paint, fiberglass repair, paint mixing

• Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trade school certification in automotive or truck body repair (Not Required)
