What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant position at RIHA Hotel?
Job Overview:
A Laundry Attendant will be asked to perform the following duties: • Clean and distribute linen and bedding using procedures and guidelines set by hotel management • Clean, organize, and maintain the laundry area • Interact with guests and teammates in a friendly and professional way • Execute all tasks and assignments quickly and efficiently • Follow established safety, chemical, equipment, and security standards and procedures • Report any damage or missing property in rooms • Assist with housekeeping when needed • Ensure that all laundry inventory is properly administered and secured Mandatory Requirements: • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays • Ability to lift 35 pounds or less, stand on feet for long periods of time, and bend, crouch, reach with no difficulty • At least 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred but not neccessary
