Responsibilities
- Clean and launder linens, towels, and uniforms using appropriate washing techniques and equipment.
- Operate and maintain laundry machines, ensuring they are functioning properly.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for easy distribution to various departments.
- Handle dry cleaning processes as needed, following proper procedures to ensure quality results.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report any shortages.
- Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items to guest rooms and common areas.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
