Responsibilities
- Support the operation, maintenance, and optimization of natural gas processing and compression facilities
- Analyze system performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and throughput
- Provide engineering support for pipeline systems, including flow assurance, pressure management, and integrity considerations
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions in collaboration with field teams
- Assist in planning and executing projects related to facility upgrades, expansions, and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards, environmental regulations, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and project management
- Prepare and review technical reports, documentation, and engineering calculations
- Participate in risk assessments and support continuous improvement of safety practices
- Monitor key performance indicators and recommend corrective actions when necessary
- Provide technical guidance and support during commissioning, start-up, and ongoing operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in natural gas facilities engineering or operations
- Strong knowledge of gas processing systems, compression equipment, and pipeline operations
- Understanding of industry safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with project management principles and execution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams
- Ability to work effectively in field environments and under challenging conditions
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing operational needs
