Job Description:
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for entering and updating information into computer programs and databases. This position will work on a project utilizing OpenInvoice/Openticket and Wellview systems, with training provided in both platforms. The role works with moderate work direction and requires the ability to identify issues and problems, though assistance may be needed in resolving them.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and update information into computer programs and databases
- Assess files to determine what information needs to be entered and the appropriate location for entry
- Prepare source data for entry by compiling and sorting information
- Establish entry priorities for data processing
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
- Execute individual tasks efficiently and accurately
- Solve challenges by following directions and using best judgment
- Make informed choices within scope of responsibilities
- Identify issues and problems (with support available for resolution)
Skills and Qualifications:
Required:
- Basic functional use of Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Experience in Oil and Gas or related industry (service industry for Oil and Gas)
- Ability to execute individual tasks
- Problem-solving skills with ability to follow directions and use best judgment
- Ability to make informed choices within scope
Preferred:
- Wellview experience
- OpenInvoice or other billing system experience
Role Details:
Location: Midland, Tx
Schedule: Schedule: 5/2, 40 hours w/approved OT
Pay: $21-$24/Hr
