The successful candidate will align designs with company standards and compliance regulations, including the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 192. Combining technical engineering precision with foundational project management duties, this position oversees multiple concurrent pipeline projects from design through procurement and execution.

Core Responsibilities

  • Commissioning & Testing: Develop comprehensive pressure test procedures and provide direct technical support during commissioning activities to ensure operational integrity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including design drafting, right-of-way agents, cathodic protection engineers, and environmental specialists to address easement, corrosion control, and ecological considerations.
  • Field Site Visits: Conduct site visits across the Wasatch Front and Salt Lake Valley to audit project progress, ensure construction quality, and support ongoing field operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.

  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience handling basic project management fundamentals, including onsite scheduling and budget tracking.
  • Technical Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (specifically Word and Excel) and specialized pipeline stress analysis software (Pipeline Toolbox).
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven capability using professional collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom) to interface with diverse stakeholder groups.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Modeling Software: Proficiency with the Synergy Pipeline Modeling Tool.
  • Asset Management: Prior experience utilizing Oracle for project budget tracking and financial reporting.
