Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable
- Manage billing: prepare invoices, apply price adjustments and tax exemptions, and issue invoices.
- Provide open statements and calculate quarterly distributor rebates.
- Reconcile monthly AR reports for the HQ accounting team to support timely invoice clearing in SAP.
- Process customer credit-card payments, refunds, and disputes (including fraud chargebacks).
- Accounts Payable & Cash Management
- Monitor and evaluate factory repayment amounts, optimizing vendor payments while maintaining sufficient bank balances.
- Process AP invoices, provide payment remittances, and schedule vendor payments to meet terms and monthly cash budgets.
- Manage company bank accounts and corporate credit cards (deposits checks, online banking, reconciliations).
- Serve as primary local contact for banks.
- Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Receive and resolve state tax notices and liabilities.
- Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns for 27 states via Avalara.
- Coordinate between external CPA and HQ accounting to support accurate annual corporate income tax filings and minimize penalties.
- Operational Support & Administration
- Perform credit checks and establish payment terms for new direct customers.
- Register and maintain customer accounts and portals.
- Manage tariffs, customs issues, and import/export documentation.
- File insurance claims for fraud or lost shipments.
- Handle customer service phone calls related to orders, lead times, tracking, and billing.
- Maintain general administrative tasks: renewing business documents/licenses and order office supplies.
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting, taxation, and expense control process.
- Proactively support the sales team for revenue achievement and business development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Financial Accounting
- Familiar with NA tax policy and accounting principle
- 5 years qualification work experience in tax or accounting area, SAP experience is plus
- Fluent in both English and Chinese written and oral communication.
- Integrity, good communication & team spirits, and with intense sense of responsibility
