Role Description The Inside Sales Person is a full-time, on-site position based in Buffalo, NY. This role involves managing inbound and outbound sales calls, responding to customer inquiries, and providing detailed product information to support purchasing decisions. The Inside Sales Person will prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up on leads to convert opportunities into sales, while maintaining accurate records in the company’s CRM system. Daily responsibilities include supporting account management activities, coordinating with production and fabrication teams, and ensuring timely communication regarding order status and delivery. The role also focuses on building long-term customer relationships, promoting new products and services, and contributing to overall sales growth goals.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Inside Sales experience, including managing inbound and outbound calls and converting leads into orders, preferably with a manufacturer or within the metals industry
- Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Experience in Lead Generation, prospecting, and nurturing potential customers through the sales cycle
- Account Management capabilities, including maintaining relationships, tracking orders, and providing ongoing support
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organization
- Comfort working with CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, documentation tools)
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams in manufacturing or industrial settings; experience in metals, fabrication, or similar industries is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, sales, or related fields is advantageous
- Proactive, goal-oriented approach, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment
