Job Summary And Primary Objectives
Monitor and assist, when necessary, the CNC processes to ensure quality products are produced. Motivate, train, and direct the work activities of subordinate staff.
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Schedule production on all machines
- Request maintenance assistance when necessary/schedule PM’s
- Know all suspect part and material procedures
- Ability to read IPPI sheet/know what and where to run parts
- Order replacement and stock items
- Maintain relationship with vendors
- Assist in training
- Kaizen projects
- Supervise and handle employee issues
- Program and set-up CNC lathe machines and other production equipment
- Determine the sequence of operations, methods of setup and layout
- Use measuring gauges to perform product quality checks
- Inspect parts against blueprints and specifications; ensuring product meets specified quality standards
- Reduce run times and increase tool life
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems leading to continual process improvements
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Observe all safety practices and procedures
- Perform preventative maintenance and keep machines lubricated
- Other duties as assigned

- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Ability to read and understand Blueprints

- Capable of producing high volume parts with exceptional quality
- Associates degree in related area or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of manufacturing experience
- 2 Years of supervisory or team leading experience
Salary : $25 - $30
