RIGHTSTONE IS HIRING! We’re looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Architectural Design to support renovation and construction projects for branded hotels across the U.S. and Canada. This role is ideal for someone with a strong architectural background who enjoys reviewing and guiding projects rather than hands-on drafting or design production.
You’ll work closely with franchisees, consultants, and internal teams to ensure projects meet brand standards, design guidelines, and operational requirements. Hospitality, multi-family, or national brand experience is highly preferred. APPLY NOW!
What You’ll Do
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and design submittals for hotel renovation and construction projects
- Conduct Property Improvement Plan (PIP) site visits for new and existing properties
- Write and manage PIP reports based on site visits and brand standards
- Provide guidance to franchisees, consultants, and project teams throughout development
- Review renovation and construction projects for compliance with brand requirements
- Support multiple projects at different stages simultaneously
- Create conceptual design recommendations and architectural solutions when needed
- Coordinate with internal departments to align design and operational goals
- Assist in developing processes, standards, and documentation to improve team efficiency
- Mentor junior staff or consultants and review project work
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required
- 8–10 years of commercial architecture experience
- Strong background in hospitality, multi-family, or retail projects preferred
- Experience working with national brands or large-scale renovation programs is a plus
- Architecture license preferred, but not required
- Strong understanding of construction documents, drawings, and brand standards
- Comfortable reviewing projects and making recommendations independently
Technical Skills
- AutoCAD proficiency required
- Experience with Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Revit preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
