We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector for a 12-month contract opportunity with potential temp-to-perm conversion in Deer Park, TX 77536, paying $24.00/hour. This role is responsible for inspecting warehouse picking accuracy, verifying part numbers and quantities, reviewing packaging quality, maintaining inspection records, and supporting customer satisfaction through quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate will have 1 years of warehouse or quality inspection experience, strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and knowledge of manufacturing processes. Experience with SAP and Excel is a plus.
Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Overtime may be required based on business needs
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect warehouse orders for accuracy, including part numbers and quantities
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Report internal and external defects and assist with root cause investigations
- Verify packaging methods meet customer and company requirements
- Collaborate with Warehouse and Quality teams to resolve picking and packing defects
- Support timely delivery of scheduled shipments through final inspections
- Review and gather product documentation, including material test reports (CMTRs) and inspection reports
- Work with documentation teams to ensure customer requirements are met
- Support continuous improvement and lean quality initiatives
- Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe work environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of related quality inspection or warehouse experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of dimensional testing and manufacturing processes preferred
- Experience using SAP and Microsoft Excel preferred
- Ability to maintain detailed records and inspection documentation
Working Conditions
- Climate-controlled workshop environment
- Extended periods of standing, bending, and lifting
- Overtime may be required
- No known safety risks associated with the role
- Work is performed onsite and not at a customer facility
