Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 AM- 3:30 PM (OT and weekends as needed)
What You’ll Do
- Inspect commercial and nuclear products—including assembled control and safety relief valves—to ensure strict adherence to measurement, testing, and Inspection Test Plan (ITP) requirements.
- Perform visual and dimensional audits on incoming, in-process, and final assemblies, verifying tag plate markings, warehouse picking accuracy, and packaging methods.
- Review technical documentation by gathering product document packets, material heat reports, and Certified Material Test Reports (CMTRs) using SAP-ERP systems.
- Collaborate on non-conformances with the Material Review Board (MRB) to document defects, identify root causes, and implement preventive actions.
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of quality inspection experience, specifically working with control, safety, and safety relief valves in an industrial setting.
- Mechanical/technical diploma (or GED with 3–5 years of relevant experience). NDE Level 2 (PT & MT) certifications are strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in reading CAD drawings, practical GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) knowledge, and hands-on SAP-ERP Quality Control experience.
- Detail-oriented mindset, strong communication skills for training operational teams, and commitment to strict workplace safety protocols.
Work Environment: You will operate within a high-precision, safety-conscious industrial and manufacturing facility. The role involves close collaboration with production lines, quality assurance teams, and documentation specialists to support Continuous Improvement/Lean initiatives.
