What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembler position at RightStone?
Looking to build a hands-on technical career? We’re hiring a Mechanical Assembler in South Minden, NV offering $18/hour for a 12-month contract with potential for permanent employment. In this role, you will assemble mechanical components, perform functional testing, and prepare finished assemblies for shipment. We’re seeking someone with a strong mechanical background, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and the ability to follow instructions accurately in a production environment.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components according to bill of material requirements
- Perform functional testing on mechanical assemblies
- Test-assemble equipment based on customer and division criteria
- Operate test equipment in alignment with engineering standards
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain assembly tools and equipment
- Prepare completed assemblies for shipment
- Work with manufacturing and production systems including SAP, SAP DM, and internal systems
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of relevant mechanical or assembly experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands for assembly and tool operation
- Ability to lift and move materials as required in a production setting
