What are the responsibilities and job description for the Linen Sorters - Laundry Production position at RightStone?
We are looking for dedicated Laundry Production Linen Sorters in Portage Indiana 46368 with $15.50/hr pay for a 8 month contract, temp role. You will pick up dry linen and feed an item into various dry fold machines. We are looking for a candidate who can consistently meet physical requirements such as bending and twisting, committed and reliable attendance. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. – APPLY NOW!
Schedule: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM, with OT when needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Pick up dry linen and feed an item into various dry fold machines
- Sort, inspect, and handle linens according to company standards
- Check items for stains, tears, holes, or wear
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain productivity and quality standards
- Keep work area clean and organized
What We’re Looking For:
- Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day
- Be able to push/pull linen carts up to 800 lbs (in wheels)
- Be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Be able to operate computer/printer
- Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending and twisting
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to work mandatory overtime when required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
