Custodian / Janitor

We are seeking a Custodial Technician in La Feria Texas 78559 with $12.50/hour pay for a 1-month, temp potential for extension. You will clean and sanitize facility areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces. Requires active Driver's License, as the role may involve driving company vehicles and ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing, walking, sweeping, mopping, and moving furniture - APPLY NOW!

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize facility areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and wax floors
• Collect and dispose of trash and debris
• Restock supplies such as tissues, cleaning products, and kitchen supplies
• Maintain clean entrances and common areas
• Assist with room setups, meetings, events, chapel services, and visitation areas as needed
• Report maintenance and safety issues to management

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License (required, as the role may involve driving company vehicles)
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing, walking, sweeping, mopping, and moving furniture
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, cleaning agents, and sanitation procedures
• Ability to handle basic maintenance repairs (e.g., replacing light bulbs)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to follow safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals
