Rightstone is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Operation Planning & Allocation - Retail (Mid-level Assignment) to support team in Newark NJ 07102. This pays $30.00/hr. on W2, with an initial contraction duration of 6-months, potential renewal. This role is essential in laying the groundwork for clean, accurate master data that will drive forecasting, replenishment, and allocation across the retail business.
As part of the Business Operation Planning & Allocation team, you’ll partner with cross-functional groups including Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Vendor Liaisons to ensure product data is accurate, consistent, and optimized for the new end-to-end planning framework. - APPLY NOW!
Work Schedule: Mon- Fri, 9 AM to 5 PM
Duration: 6-months initial contract (potential renewal)
Key Responsibilities
- Execute merchandise categorization and system data clean-up efforts, including:
- Hierarchy clean-up and attribute assignment (style, collection, digital accessory).
- Live assortment clean-up in Fusion and Brand Manager.
- Status validation (DD/DC/Active) and defining item listing maintenance processes.
- Partner with Visual Merchandising to reconcile presentation minimums.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain on transportation and allocation lead time mapping.
- Document supplier closure timings and order schedule impacts.
- Coordinate MOQ clean-up, cross-style grouping, and order alignment.
- Ensure all product attributes and master data support accurate forecasting, planning, replenishment, and allocation within Relex.
Requirements
- Experience in retail merchandise planning, allocation, or data analysis (mid-level).
- Strong knowledge of retail systems and data management (Fusion, S4, Brand Manager a plus).
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple functions (VM, Supply Chain, Commercial, Vendors).
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Results-driven, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
