Senior Front End Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to design and build high-quality, visually polished user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for visual detail, a deep understanding of human-computer interaction principles, and a passion for crafting intuitive interfaces. This is a hybrid position based in New York City, NY or Fairfield County, CT.

Senior Front End Engineer's Responsibilities And Duties

• Design, build, and maintain responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable code primarily in TypeScript
• Develop UI components and features using React or Svelte
• Apply human-computer interaction principles to improve usability and user experience
• Collaborate with design and product teams to translate concepts into polished interfaces
• Review code and provide feedback focused on visual quality and interaction design
  
  

Senior Front End Engineer's Qualifications And Skills

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a Front End Engineer or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript
• Proficiency in React or Svelte
• Demonstrated strong attention to visual detail and interface craftsmanship
• Solid grasp of human-computer interaction (HCI) principles and interface design best practices
• Full stack experience a plus, but not required
