Project Engineer

Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to lead and execute end-to-end IT projects across a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a personable presence, and a collaborative mindset. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT, Middlesex County, CT, Providence County, RI or Chesapeake, VA.

Project Engineer's Responsibilities And Duties

• Lead and manage IT projects from initiation through completion, including Office 365 migrations, network implementations, server deployments, and office build-outs
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely and successful project delivery
• Provide escalation support to the broader projects team as needed
• Document project scope, progress, and outcomes in accordance with internal standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across a variety of environments and platforms
• Collaborate with a team of approximately 16 Project Engineers to share knowledge and best practices
  
  

Project Engineer's Qualifications And Skills

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a Project Engineer or similar role
• Hands-on experience with a range of IT project types including Office 365 migrations, networking, server infrastructure, and office build-outs
• MSP experience preferred; candidates with experience on a dedicated projects team will also be considered
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-facing presence
