Network Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join their team and take ownership of their enterprise network infrastructure. This role requires expertise in configuring and maintaining Arista and Alcatel environments while leading the company through critical upgrade processes. This is a hybrid position based in Queens, NY.

Starting at $100,000/year.

Network Engineer’s Responsibilities And Duties

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Arista and Alcatel network systems.
• Lead and manage network upgrade and migration initiatives.
• Support and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and maintain VPN, LAN, and WAN solutions.
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and apply effective resolutions.
• Ensure network security, compliance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
  
  

Network Engineer’s Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience with Arista and Alcatel networking equipment.
• Strong background in enterprise network architecture and upgrades.
• Hands-on expertise with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Proficiency with VPN, LAN, and WAN configuration and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of network security best practices.
