What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi Family Painter position at Right Time Homes?
We are seeking a skilled Multi Family Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential painting. This role involves working on various projects, including renovations, restorations, and new constructions. The Painter will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing surfaces of walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other areas of multi-family homes. The role ensures that vacant units and common areas are turned quickly and meet quality standards for incoming residents.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Perform plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry as required by the project scope.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; utilize power tools and hand tools safely.
- Organization is a plus in order to adhere to turn schedules.
- Max and Mix colors when needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist in fixture installation and perform maintenance tasks as needed.
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus
Paid on the first payroll following successful completion of the 90-day introductory period.
Team member must be actively employed and in good standing at time of payout.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting.
- Familiarity with residential homes as well as safety standards.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment.
- Experience in drywall repairs, stucco application, renovation, remodeling, carpentry (including frame carpentry), maintenance person tasks, and maintenance knowledge is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
