Responsibilities
- Manage front desk duties including greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and answering phone inquiries with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Assist with medical documentation, including patient records, forms, scanning, faxing, and insurance paperwork, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Support medical staff by preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, collecting vital signs, handling medical supplies, and sterilizing equipment as needed
- Coordinate appointments and follow-up communications to ensure seamless patient flow and timely service delivery
- Maintain organized filing systems for both administrative files and medical records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Perform general office tasks such as data entry, photocopying, mailing, and inventory management of supplies
- Collaborate with team members to improve office procedures and enhance overall operational efficiency
- Referrals/Prior Authorizations
- Phlebotomy
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or medical support role preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Excellent communication skills—friendly, clear, and professional in all interactions
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software for data management and correspondence
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods as needed; comfort working with sensitive patient information
