Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor / Cleaner to join our team in Rhinelander. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness at Nicolet College and supporting our commitment to excellence and environmental responsibility.
Schedule: M-F, 9pm-4-5am, some flex scheduling in time.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
- Assist with floor care operations and window cleaning
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
- Follow cleaning safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, break areas, educational areas, dining/cafeterias, kitchen areas, elevators, stairwells, common areas and other areas as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial setting or equivalent experience.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
