Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Loan Officer Assistant, based in Troy, MI. The Loan Officer Assistant will provide support to Loan Officers by preparing loan documentation, coordinating with clients, and ensuring the accuracy of information provided in the loan applications. Additional responsibilities include communicating with clients to gather required documentation, liaising with underwriters to process applications, and ensuring compliance with lending policies and standards. The role also requires maintaining strong customer relationships and providing excellent service throughout the loan process.
Qualifications
- Experience working with Loan Officers and knowledge of the Mortgage Industry
- Strong Customer Service skills and ability to build positive client relationships
- Familiarity with Underwriting processes and mortgage documentation
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with mortgage software and basic computer skills is an asset
- Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or a related field is advantageous
