We are seeking a skilled Residential Service Plumber to join our team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements
- Install and upgrade plumbing systems in new construction or remodeling projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding equipment to complete tasks
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for pipe installation and system repairs
- Conduct maintenance on existing plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate plumbing work within larger projects
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
- Assist with remodeling projects that involve carpentry, assembly, or HVAC components as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, remodeling, or related trades
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices and procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe threading, welding, and HVAC systems preferred
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, and basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in confined spaces or at heights
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience is a plus
- Handyman experience or general construction background is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team on complex projects
