Right At School is currently interviewing for several part-time positions within the Weld RE-8 School District for our upcoming summer camp and the 2026-2027 school year.

We Are Seeking Candidates For The Following Role:

• After School Site Educators: Starting with the 2026-2027 school year.
  
  

What we are looking for: We are currently seeking part-time After School Site Program Educators for our before- and after-school programs located inside the Weld RE-8 schools. This role will begin at the end of July 2026!

The after-school site locations and shift will be:

Butler Elementary- 3:15 pm- 6:00 pm

Twombly Elementary- 3:15 pm- 6:00 pm

Kenneth Homyak Elementary- 2:15 pm-6:00 pm

After-School Site Educators: starting at $20 per hour (based on education, years of licensed group childcare experience)

Part-Time Position Details-

• Fall 2026-2027 School Year: After-School hours. Must be able to work Monday through Friday. Located in the Weld RE-8 School District.
• Part-Time Schedule: Before and After School Split-Shift-
• NO WEEKENDS!
• Start Date: July 2026, if wanting to work at the summer camp prior to fall 2026-2027
• Starting Wage: $20 per hour (depending on years of licensed group childcare experience and educational qualifications in a group setting)

Requirements:

PLEASE READ Experience/Educational Requirements:

• 18 years old and a High School Graduate or GED
• Must CURRENTLY reside in the surrounding areas
• Required availability- Part-Time Monday-Friday (2:45 pm-5:45 pm) NO WEEKENDS!
• Start Date: Immediately
• State Licensing Requirement-Verifiable experience- 460 hrs w/ group supervising 4 or more children (one-on-one care, nanny, and babysitting do not qualify, must be classroom or licensed group childcare type supervision) of school-aged children (must be in this age range -kindergarten-6th grade)in a licensed childcare location and was able to manage children without supervision; OR 40 clocked hours training/coursework department-approved courses playground/safety
• Will be able to provide a letter from a licensed childcare type facility showing at least 460 hours of supervising school-age children (kinder-6th grade) and three professional references that will be verified if hired
  
  

You’ll Drive The Mission By:

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observation
• Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way
• Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play
• Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all children
• Meets regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability
  
  

Ideal Candidates Will Have The Following:

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
• Works well in a team environment
• At least one year or 460 verifiable hours of experience working with school-age children under 5-13 years of age
• Ability to lift 25lbs
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed
  
  

Requirements:

• Ability to meet state-specific requirements;
• 18 years of age
• At least one year or 460 verifiable hours of experience working with school-age children in a licensed group setting for children between 5 and 13 years of age.
• Proof of a high school diploma/GED required
