In this role, we're prepared to equip you with personal protective equipment (PPE) and assist as you care for our vulnerable population of seniors and adults with disabilities.
About the Job
This position involves caring for patients' daily needs, such as providing assistance with personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, and other household chores.
You'll have the opportunity to work with experienced nurses to learn new skills and adapt to unique client situations.
Requirements
- Six months experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in health care (in homes or facilities)
- Successful completion of a State approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) course
- Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
- Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Have a valid driver's license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
