Caregiver Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist Clients with Activities of Daily Living: Assist clients with crucial activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Personal Care Activities: Provide personal care services including assisting with hygiene, preparing meals, and accompanying clients on errands or appointments.
- Dementia Care: Provide compassionate care and support to clients with dementia, focusing on maintaining their independence and dignity.
Caregiver Qualifications and Skills
- One Year of Caregiving Experience: One year of experience providing personal or professional caregiving services.
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. Certificate: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Lifting and Moving Ability: Ability to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Valid Driver's License and Automobile Insurance: Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
- Background Check: Pass a background check.
- CNA License, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide Certification: CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.
