Key Responsibilities:
In this rewarding part-time role, you’ll provide essential care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. Some of your tasks will include:
Assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Helping clients transfer or move from one location to another within their home.
Providing housekeeping assistance (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, laundry, and more).
Preparing nutritious meals and snacks according to client preferences.
Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments.
Offering companionship through activities like reading, puzzles, music, and conversations.
Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises and medication reminders.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: We value retirees who want to stay engaged and use their skills in a meaningful way. Previous experience in caregiving is required.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and pass a background check.
Certifications: CNA license, Home Care Aide, or Personal Care Aide certifications are required.
Personality: A compassionate and patient demeanor with a desire to give back to those in need. Must live in the South Bay area!
