Key Responsibilities:Â

Reinforce dressings (non-sterile)Â
-
Assist clients with mobility devices (cane, walker, wheelchair, or lift device)Â

Support prescribed range of motion exercisesÂ
-
Measure and prepare special dietsÂ
-
Monitor and record intake and outputÂ
-
Take vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure)Â
-
Assist with the application of arm and leg splintsÂ

Qualifications:Requirements:Â

High school diploma or GEDÂ
-
Minimum six months of experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in healthcare settings (homes or facilities)Â

Completion of a State-approved Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) courseÂ
-
Successful completion of a Competency Evaluation meeting state licensing laws for home health agenciesÂ
-
Valid certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)Â
-
A compassionate attitude towards patient care and the ability to meet job demandsÂ
-
Current CPR certification is recommendedÂ
