Right at Home Cleveland West, a leading provider of in-home care and assistance, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) with an active Med Cert 3 to join our team. Our mission is to provide high-quality, person-centered care that supports seniors and vulnerable adults in living safely and independently at home.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Administer and manage client medications in accordance with Med Cert 3 authorization and care plans
Support clients with mobility needs, including gait belt and Hoyer lift use when required
Provide companion care, emotional support, and supervision to ensure client safety
Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and home support tasks
Monitor and report any changes in client condition, behavior, or health status
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
Follow all agency policies, documentation standards, and individualized care plans
What We Are Looking For:
Active Med Cert 3 certification (required)
Experience in direct care or caregiving preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass background checks
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
