Part-Time Operations Assistant – RIG Insurance Services
Location: Colchester, VT
Job Type: Part-Time (15-20 Hrs. per week)
About Us: We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative, computer, operational and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Part-Time Operations Assistant to support our team's daily activities, scheduling, and administrative needs. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth office operations and provide excellent internal and external communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer & Direct Calls
- Manage administrative tasks, including billing, filing, scheduling and data entry.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of office supplies and ordering.
- Support staff with special projects, reporting, and event coordination.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical records.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of previous office, administrative, or operations experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation
