Are you a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in need of a part-time or PRN opportunity? Schedule: Wednesday mornings 7 AM until 11:30 AM, Thursday and Friday 7 AM until 3:30 PM, totaling 20 guaranteed hours a week
Also, the person would serve as PRN/backup for the other caretaker in case of appointments, emergencies, etc.
The following list is a range of personal/proxy care services needed by quadriplegic employees:
- Assistance with getting out of bed using a Hoyer Lift
- Grooming
- Dressing
- Maintaining hygiene during the employee’s workday
- Feeding
- Holding beverages
- Light physical movement, 10-minute range of motion stretches, and mobility assistance (i.e. tilting chair every 30 minutes for a pre-determined amount of time).
- Administrative Support to include retrieving mail and packages, assisting with navigating to the designated workstation
- Occasional filing, assembling and/or mailing of materials.
The CNA in this position must:
- Must have a current and valid BLS Certification
- Must have a least one year of verified experience performing similar duties
- Must be dependable (good attendance)
- Strong interpersonal working skills are required
- Must be able to successfully pass the government’s background screening process
