Locations include gas stations, convenience stores, office buildings, and food preparation areas. Location: This position will require travel throughout the Ridi Stores footprint primarily located across northwest Ohio. Ideal candidate will live within reasonable commuting distance of a Ridi location.
A company maintenance vehicle will be provided for business travel.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair gas station and car wash equipment, including fuel dispensers, air compressors, plumbing, electrical systems, food and beverage equipment, and refrigeration units.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, or general repairs to keep the environment safe and appealing.
- Perform fueling system and car wash equipment troubleshooting (Electronic/hydraulic)
- Repair or replace faulty components including motors, belts, wiring, switches, and other mechanical or electrical parts.
- Complete electrical troubleshooting (AC/DC)
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
- Regularly perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on a wide range of equipment
- Installation and setup of new equipment.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the management team.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including company vehicles, tools and equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum Education: High School or GED
- Preferred Education: Trade and Technical schools, Equipment manufacturer-certified training programs
- Preferred: Experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a gas station or retail environment.
- Preferred: Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Preferred: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Preferred: Proven problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
